Blood work time

Because Tal was diagnosed with duarte galactosemia, we decided to have Berkeley tested to see if she had duartes or if she was a carrier. We went to the Children's Hospital to meet with a metabolic specialist and have bloodwork done so that I would know if it was safe to breastfeed her. She was a little trooper the entire time! It was funny, though, that the doctor felt the need to talk to me like I was a 3rd grader regarding the condition! I did so much research on the topic when Tal was diagnosed I could have written a book. Great News! She doesn't have it!

Being a little angelMy attempt at getting a picture with her (why do Mom's always get left out of the photos?)
After leaving the doctor we followed through on our promise to Ava Ryan to go to Chucky Cheese for staying in bed. Chucky Cheese is such a fun place!
"Can I do that?"
This is what Berkeley did at Chucky Cheese. Just look at that little green bandage!
Ride 'em cowgirl!
Ava LOVED Chucky. She chased him around the restaurant the entire time.
