...from way back when...

To all of my loyal blog stalkers I apologize for the huge delay in posts. Baby Berkeley is taking up a majority of my time, as well as two bouts of mastitis, a toddler, and a preschooler...but not to worry...I have kept my camera handy through it all. The following are pictures from what seems like an eternity ago. So here they are, a long, long time ago "Before Berkeley":

First, Matt returned home from Texas to two very excited little ones. After a long 9-week summer session in Amarillo he returned a Physical Therapist. In these pictures we were sitting on the porch waiting to see his car pull into the driveway.

"Daddy!!!"
Hugs all around
He sure missed his Daddy!

As soon as Matt returned home from Texas, life went on as normal. Ava loves her preschool and is making a lot of new friends. Unfortunately, she has also found her inner "boss" and thinks that she runs the show.
Headed to preschool (one week pre-Baby Berkeley)

After a long day (ie. 3 hours) at school, all a girl wants to do is come home and soak in the tub- with her princess bubbles, of course
Taking a soak (don't look at the decor, well, you can't because there isn't any! We still haven't started on our bed/bath)

On Berkeley's due date we decided, since I didn't feel like she would be coming anytime soon, to take the kids to the carnival and parade. They loved riding the rides and my huge belly amused a lot of people, too. Fortunately this year I didn't feel the least bit guilty about eating funnel cakes!
Riding the cars

Of all of the little kids catching candy, Ava won the coveted (I guess) slice of pizza during the parade. It absolutely made my skin crawl to think of how long that piece of pizza had been out in the heat and what kind of things could be growing on it by now that we dropped it in the nearest trash can.
Oh, geez, thanks for the...parade pizza?
poking Ava in the head with my belly
Tired of standing on the street picking up candy. She thought it much more wise to take a seat and have it brought to her
We used airplane barf bags to collect our candy- thanks, Aunt Kacey!
Typical Talmage!

Ummm...is this ride 0-60 in 2.2 seconds or what? Can you say whiplash!
Round and Round with Daddy and Granna- those barf bags might have come in handy!
Matt and I decided that we would purchase the kids a trampoline to play on while the weather was still nice and THEY WERE ON SALE. So, Grant came over to help us put it together.
See, men CAN read directions!!
Got it up...time for the netI'll help, Daddy!
"Okay, I'm bored. Time for golf"
