Alvin!!!

This morning Ava Ryan enjoyed her first cinematic experience. I found out that the theater was showing Alvin & the Chipmunks, her latest craze, for free! I thought that this would be a great experience for us, and even if it didn't work out (aka: tantrum), then I wouldn't have spent any money. I guess I forgot about the concession stand! So $17 dollars and some junk food later we were nestled in our seats awaiting the show. Ava got so excited when it came on! The whole movie she munched on Reese's pieces and Sprite. It was so funny to watch her try and maneuver the seat, as it kept folding up- with her in it. At one point her toes were directly in front of her face!! Other kids cried during the movie, but not Ava Ryan. She waited until after the movie as we were walking out to scream, "I wanna watch Munks!" Overall, it was a fantastic experience and Talmage, who also was intrigued by the huge movie screen, was his usual angel self.
