Headed East

We hop a plane tomorrow to go back to Kentucky for our last visit. The next time we are headed East it will be with a U-Haul and an 18 hour drive ahead of us. Yesterday I didn't get any packing or cleaning done as I was fighting off a nasty virus, so I am trying to catch up tonight. Matt also completed another semester of class, finishing his last final this afternoon. This time next year he will be taking his boards. We are both looking forward to "not using our brains" for a few weeks, except to finalize plans for our house and, of course, pick out cute outfits to wear. I am so excited to see the progress on it! Ava Ryan has been spouting off lengthly lists of all of the people we will see when we get home. She looked in the air the other day and said, "Airplane." This time she might actually understand that we are in a little capsule in the air! Because she is over 24 months old we had to purchase her a seat. I spent all day hitting up every Dollar Store in town getting "plane toys" (you know the ones... they seem to magically get left on the nasty plane!) I am not sure which child to call dibs on- how about the one that is being quiet! With Ava and Talmage that is definitely a toss-up! I am excited for everyone to see Tal, as the last time we were home he was only a month old. He's grown quite a bit since then!
Matt and I are also planning on playing in the yearly volleyball tournament, which makes me nervous because our team has won the past 5 years in a row- talk about PRESSURE! What he doesn't know is that I go just to fill up on fresh squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, and gyros! I'll try and take lots of pictures- who am I kidding- I WILL take lots of pictures!
