Playdough

Ava is definitely my child. I recently introduced her to play dough and the only thing that she wanted to do with it was smell it and lick it. Now if you missed out on this delicious doughy treat as a child, I can tell you it smells spectacular and has a very salty taste. I don't think she actually swallowed any of it, unlike the teething tablets that she downed in 1.2 seconds!

**More about the Teething Tablets: Don't worry- I promptly called Poison Control and they assured me that she would be fine. Her pupils might dilate and she might be a little "wild" because they contain caffeine, but other than that the tablets are completely safe! The thing that did worry me about my Poison Control call was the fact that I had to give my name and phone number. You see, a couple of years ago Kiski got into some plants that I thought were poisonous and I called PC frantic and very upset- ABOUT MY CAT! Hopefully, they don't keep a Poison Control Customer Log!!

Anyway, she had a great time with the play dough! I think I'll make homemade next time so that it is edible- JUST IN CASE!

"Mom, seriously, I don't have time for pictures. I'm playing! Fine, I'll show you the play dough!"

You are brave introducing play dough. I love how Ava wouldn't look at the camera. She's too funny!

Do you ever watch Jon & Kate Plus 8? On one episode, she made edible playdough that sounds delicious (even better than Play-Doh). I think it was equal parts peanut butter, honey, and powdered milk.

You have to watch this! Parents of Miss Teen South Carolina
