The kids have really enjoyed playing in the sprinklers in the backyard and keeping cool in the pool. Matt even got to come in this past weekend and join us in a little hot and humid family fun! Unfortunately, on Thursday our air conditioner (yes, the one that is only a few months old) decided to overheat and left us without air ALL WEEKEND LONG! Let me tell ya, bed rest and no air is a quick way to make a pregnant woman grumpy in a hurry! I think my parents realized my misery of sleeping in an 83 degree oven every night, so we rigged up a unit in our bedroom window and cranked it as low as it would go. Fortunately, the special order part to the fix the air conditioner was here Monday afternoon and now I am enjoying a much cooler house!
