We had a great time just hanging out this weekend. This is one of the last weekends that Matt and I won't have classes- aka weekend homework- so we took advantage of it. On Wednesday (yeah, we started our weekend on Wednesday!) we went to Jodi and Evan's house and watched the American Idol finale- or the Dual of the Davids! I can't say that I was very happy about the results- but I didn't vote, so I really don't have any room to complain! Don't get me wrong, David Cook was my favorite, but sometimes I think that actually WINNING Idol isn't the best for a guy like that. He would be a big star regardless and now he is under contract with Idol- but we will see.
We also went to play- not at the park- it was toooooo windy, but at the indoor mall play area. Ava cracks me up everyday. This time at the mall she decided it was her civil duty to follow a little boy around and tell him that he needed to wipe his nose- she's big on hygiene. She has also gotten brave and started jumping off of anything she can climb on. Tal just hung out on the sidelines with Mommy and Daddy, anxiously awaiting the day that he gets to play with sister.
Later we went to Lowe's where we looked at bathtubs and let Ava ride around in the super cool race cart. I noticed that we were getting some pretty interesting looks, so I looked down to find Ava had undressed herself! I have to watch this child every second! --Speaking of which- at this very moment- she is taking off her clothes AND DIAPER. Ooh, now, she is running around naked! Don't you just love the play-by-play! Geez!
We also bought Ava Ryan her very own (plastic) golfclubs! Daddy is determined to have a "golf buddy". I am not quite sure she is ready to go pro!
We topped off our weekend seeing a movie- yes in a real movie theater! Thanks Kat and Kyle for watching the kiddos! We also had dinner with Jake and Becca and played Settlers. Aren't you just so sad when the weekend is over??

Matt has a "mini-me", except from how it sounds, Tal is not so "mini". Congratulations on making it to a "big people" movie - we are hoping to be able to visit Indiana Jones ourselves very soon.
I'm sure once you return to Ky, you'll have no shortage of babysitters!
