Last night Ava Ryan started "tumble bugs", a gymnastics class for 3 year olds. I had intended to take pictures of her practicing, but realized quickly that she does much better for her teacher when I am no where to be seen. Unfortunately, the observation deck for parents was closed so I couldn't even sneak a picture. At first, Ava refused to stretch or jump, but as soon as the class took a water break, she was all over it! One of her favorite past times is drinking from a water fountain. Luckily, it helped to break the ice and she began talking to her teacher, Ms. Kelly. Soon she was participating and having a blast. Her teacher's comment: "Wow, once Ava comes out of her shell she's a little firecracker!" You're telling me!!
