put a band-aide on it

This tree fell months ago during one of our big storms. We pass it everyday driving out of our neighborhood and Ava always comments on it. Well, just a few days ago this is what I heard coming from the back of the car:
"That tree falled. Maybe me and Angie (her preschool teacher) and Torie (a friend at preschool) can make it feel better. We better get a band-aide to make it better."
Isn't it funny how band-aides can fix anything in the eyes of a child!!
