really, orajel?

I saw a commercial on tv today that really frosted my cookies...so I thought I would rant...
First, let me begin by stating that less than 3 months ago I delivered an 8 lb, 2 oz, 21 inch long baby girl, so I think it is safe to say that the pain of that day is still fairly fresh in my mind. Well, today while downloading some pictures an orajel commercial came on tv that compared a toothache to labor pains...what the???...really. Then the lady went onto to say how the orajel nipped the pain instantly. So here is my question...if orajel is such a potent pain reliever that it can instantly make you feel better when you are in pain SIMILAR TO THAT OF LABOR...where the heck was it when I was in the hospital. Sounds like a much cheaper alternative to an epidural if you ask me. Ludicris, I tell ya, ludicris!
