Yesterday was a full day of fun. The weather was beautiful, and even though Matt really needed to study, we decided to go to the zoo instead. We knew that there was no admission fee (which made it much more appealing) so we weren't expecting much. Accompanied by some friends, we loaded the double stroller and set out on our adventure. We thought we might be lucky to see a cow (to which Ava would shout out MOOOOOO), maybe a sheep, horse, and goat. We were correct, we did get to see those animals, but also lions and tigers and bears- Oh my!! In addition we watched spider monkeys play and huge turtles crawl.

After we left the zoo, we made a quick trip down Route 66 and to the grocery to pick up some items for our "game night." We really had a blast- so much of a fun time that I forgot to break out the camera. Jodi, Evan, Kat, Kyle, Jake, Becca, and Lindsey all came. We played Catch Phrase (music edition), Mad Gab, and Finish Lines. I haven't laughed so hard in a very long time!! We also had yummy food- lots of cheese- and fondue! Matt and I didn't get to bed until after 2:30 am! Thanks guys for such a fun night!

Oh, How much fun does that look. Maybe this summer we can take the kiddos to the zoo! Glad you had fun!
