Yesterday marked yet another pregnancy milestone. We are finally 28 weeks! So far I haven't been put on any bedrest, only travel restrictions. I got my final rhogam shot ( I am o- blood type) before the delivery and completed my "sugar test." Baby girl went crazy over the super sugary, ultra-disgusting, orange concoction that I had to down in 5 minutes or less. Hopefully, the results will come back negative for gestational diabetes and I will be in the final stretch towards delivering a healthy baby girl.
Lately, Ava Ryan has been intriqued with the idea of being a big sister again and little Tal has started saying, "baby." While I am sure that they aren't exactly understanding what will happen in 3 months, I do think they are going to be fantastic with baby girl. Well, at least for now, I can breathe a little easier (ummm...not exactly ACTUALLY breathe easier, but feel a little more confident:)) in knowing that this baby would have a great chance of survival- even if born today! I am pretty sure she is sufficiently plumping up as I have downed a few boxes of fudge rounds (yuck, I know). I think the last time I unwrapped one of those disgusting chocolate treats was after pulling it out of my 4th grade lunch box. Oh...the cravings!!
Although I really hate all that I have been through, it has actually prepared me to appreciate every pregnancy and every little milestone. I just told Matt the other day that right now my life is lived in "weeks". I must admit that I am a little jealous of those women who soar through pregnancy without a care or worry about delivering too early...but my experience with burying my two daughters has prepared me to be a better and much more appreciative mother. Now, bring on the fudge rounds...it's gonna be a long, hot summer!

You look great! YAY for 28 weeks,I'm so happy for you that everything is going so well! Just a tad jealous too. Ditto on appreciating absolutely everything. Your a great mom and your kids are lucky to have you. I would love to be there to watch Ava with the new baby. So cute!
That picture of you and Ava is too cute! Only 12 weeks to go, hang in there! I'm sure everything will run smoothly this time. From what Matt tells me our little ones could be born on the same day, how exciting! (as long as he makes it back in time:) Enjoy your fudge rounds!:)
